Sohu.com Awarded Rights to Offer Live Webcasts and Video-On-Demand of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games

 

BEIJING, CHINA, June 16, 2008 - Sohu.com Inc. (NASDAQ: SOHU), China's leading online media, communications, search, online games and mobile value-added services company, announced today that it had signed an agreement with its strategic partner CCTV.com, China's Official Internet/Mobile Broadcaster of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, and will be awarded the new media rights to internet broadcasting for the Olympics. As an authorized internet portal, Sohu will offer live webcasts and video-on-demand of the competitions together with the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
