Beijing, CHINA, December 18, 2008 -- SOHU.COM Inc. (Nasdaq: SOHU) (the "Company"), China's leading online media, communications, search, online games and mobile value-added services company, today announced that it was awarded the prize of "Best Investor Relations by a US-Listed Chinese Company" at the IR Magazine China Conference and Awards 2008 held in Beijing, China on December 16, 2008.
The IR Magazine Awards recognize achievement in the field of Investor Relations, and are based on an independent research survey of buy-side analysts, sell-side analysts and portfolio managers. This year's survey was expanded to include responses from the total universe of global investors covering Asian stocks, not just those based in Asia.
"Sohu.com is very proud to have received this important award in recognition for our Investor Relations program," said Dr. Charles Zhang, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sohu.com. "We take our communications with the Street very seriously and we believe that this award further demonstrates our commitment to upholding the highest standard of investor communications. This reflects many years of hard work in development of our Investor Relations program."
