Corporation Partner To Provide Over 300 Sports Program Choices For The 2000

China, today announced that it will provide '2000 Olympic Games information to
over 50 million mobile phone users in China, due to an alliance with China
Mobile Communications Corporation (CMCC), the largest GSM mobile communications
company in the world. Mainland China mobile phone users can order information
about the Olympics through www.sohu.com and have it delivered to their mobile
phones with CMCC's short message system.

To provide Web-users with current 2000 Olympic Games information, SOHU.com
launched a new website www.olympic.sohu.com that delivers news, athletic
profiles, Olympic history, travel information for Australia, details regarding
the Chinese Olympic delegation, and analysis of the sports Chinese athletes will
be participating in. Mobile phone users throughout China will be able to choose
the information desired from over three hundred scheduled sports programs. The
various menus will include real-time coverage, schedule reminding, instant
results, instant statistics and Olympic features. Real time news will be
transmitted to mobile phones as short messages. All mobile phone users with
short message supporting functions will be able to access this service for a
fee.
In early April, SOHU.com jointly developed an innovative mobile Internet
service with Nokia to become the first WAP service provider in China. SOHU.com
