Internet portal SOHU.com is expanding its information services across China with
the launch of SOHU Localized Portal Editions that link closely into the
lifestyle of Internet users in major cities. SOHU.com is the first leading
Chinese portal that offers up-to-date localized content to accommodate the
existing regional differences in this huge country and build SOHU.com into a
truly national portal.
Today, SOHU.com launches its Shanghai Edition, which offers residents of this
pace-setting metropolis the latest in local news, search, entertainment, travel,
and community features, including Bulletin Board System and Chat Room. Earlier
this month, SOHU Guangdong Edition for the Cantonese community in South China
went off to a flying start with localized portal services. In the coming weeks
