World famous online game developed for SMS entertainment in China
BEIJING, CHINA, October 22, 2001 - SOHU.COM (NASDAQ: SOHU),

announced the completion of an exclusive collaboration with Siemens Mobile
Phones in China to build an inter-phase platform that re-configured the world
famous online game "Kung-Fu Boy" for a wireless protocol. This is the first time
that the Japanese comic sensation "Kung-Fu Boy" has been developed for SMS
applications.
The popular interactive game is embedded into Siemens latest 2118 mobile
handsets and can only be accessed by dialing a designated code linked to one of
SOHU's SMS platforms. For every game played SOHU receives a wireless transaction
payment. Owners of Siemens' 2118 mobile phones wanting to play "Kung-Fu Boy"
will be able to download a selection of cartoon characters with weapons and fun
fighting actions that motivate the user to pay a transaction fee to re-play the
game.
