(NASDAQ: SOHU), China's leading online media, search and mobile value-added services company, will open The NASDAQ Stock Market on Monday, March 13, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. ET in New York. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Charles Zhang will preside over the NASDAQ opening bell ceremony at the NASDAQ MarketSite. Chief Financial Officer Carol Yu will also be present.

Sohu has been listed on The NASDAQ Stock Market since July 2000 and is in its tenth year of operation. In November 2005, Sohu was selected to be the Official Internet Content Service Sponsor of the highly anticipated Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Sohu will provide exclusive services to construct, operate and host the official Beijing Olympics website, www.beijing2008.com, for this historic event.
