Sohu's all-inclusive, proprietary search engine, Sogou was initially launched in August 2004, and Sohu continues to invest in research and development for the service. With a search database of 10 billion retrieved Chinese web pages and a daily update of 500 million pages, we believe Sogou is one of the best Chinese search engines in the market today. Sponsored search has long-term market growth potential, and monetization is expected to increase with the development and accelerating adoption of e-commerce, which is still at an early stage in China.
